by | April 8, 2005 | Comments

Variety shares some sequel news that should come as little surprise: filmmaker Tim Hill ("Muppets from Space," "Max Keeble’s Big Move") has been hired to direct the just-announced sequel to last summer’s "Garfield." The comic strip feline’s first cinematic adventure grossed just under $200 million worldwide. No word yet on if Breckin Meyer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, or Bill Murray will be reprising their roles from Part 1.
