Originally set to open July 1st, "Fantastic Four" will instead open one week later to avoid going head-to-head with Tom Cruise’s "War of the Worlds," according to the Hollywood Reporter. It will now go up against Sony’s "Bewitched," the big screen adaptation a popular TV show from the ’60s. Based on a comic book by Marvel Comics, "Fantastic Four" is about four astronauts who acquire superpowers after being exposed to cosmic rays. The movie stars Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, and Jessica Alba.
