The Hollywood Reporter brings some sad news from the set of the all-new remake of "My Friend Flicka." Seems that one of the wild horses being used in the film had an accident and died from a broken neck. "The horse was killed Monday during filming at the Hansen Dam Equestrian Center in the San Fernando Valley … The horse was running when it stepped on its own lead rope and broke its neck."
Animal Services shut the production down for a brief period, but it’s now back up and running. The remainder of the shoot will be done with more ‘domesticated’ horses.
