Emmerich Taps Kreuzpaintner to Direct "Girls Next Door"

Roland Emmerich has selected German director Marco Kreuzpaintner to direct "Girls Next Door" for his German production house, Reelmachine, Variety reports. The movie is based on a New York Times Magazine story about the international sex slave industry. It will center on a Moldavian girl who is tricked into sexual slavery after being promised a better life in America, and also on an abducted Mexican girl and the brother who tries to save her. Kreuzpaintner will direct from a script by Jose Rivera ("The Motorcycle Diaries").
