CANNES: Blog Day Five & Six -- Yachts, Donnie Yen, and Cannes' First Bomb

by | May 25, 2006 | Comments

On Days Five and Six of their Gallic journey in the South of France, Jen, Senh and Tim venture onto their first yacht, witness the first huge disappointment of the festival ("Southland Tales"), and hobnob with Bruce Willis, Bai Ling, Rachael Leigh Cook, Donnie Yen, and more!

They’re back home now, but the festival still rages on and RT’s Cannes crew will be recapping the last days of their first visit to the Cannes Film Festival…and yes, that is Senh with Jury President Wong Kar-Wai. He wears his sunglasses at night.

On Day Five, "Southland Tales" goes out with a whimper, Jen lunches with the "Shortbus" cast, and the Tomatoes board the Budweiser Big Eagle yacht for the "Southland" party before hopping over to not one, but two more parties for "Dragon Tiger Gate" and "Over the Hedge!"

On Day Six, Tim and Jen head to see the uncanny "X-Men: The Last Stand," Senh plays paparazzi with the "Platoon" cast, and Jen sits down with Rachael Leigh Cook before the crew heads to — what else? — another party!
