Director Milos Forman and Nicolas Cage are working on a biopic of legendary gambler Amarillo Slim Preston, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Stephen Rivele and Christopher Wilkinson, the writers of such screen bios as "Ali" and "Nixon," are working on the script, based upon Preston’s autobiography, "Amarillo Slim in a World Full of Fat People: The Memoirs of the Greatest Gambler Who Ever Lived." Nothing about the project is official. Forman’s last film was "Man on the Moon," a biopic of comedian Andy Kaufman.
