Basinger as Wonder Woman?

Citing Ananova and the New York Post, Dark Horizons reports that Kim Basinger is in the running for the lead in a big screen version of Wonder Woman, if the producers decide to make the character older. If the filmmakers go for a younger actress, Jessica Biel of "Blade: Trinity" is the favorite. Producer Joel Silver is producing the film for Warner Bros, and is in negotiations with Joss Whedon to write the script.
