By way of celebrating today’s DVD release of Annie Leibowitz: Life Through a Lens, a documentary about one of the world’s foremost celebrity portraiture artists, RT is proud to share a fine example of her portfolio.

This image of Nicole Kidman, shot in New York in 2003 for Vogue Magazine, is one of many by the photographer. Her career spans more than thirty years and she’s been responsible for some of the most iconic celebrity portraits, including a shot of a naked, pregnant Demi Moore, Bette Midler on a bed of red roses and the cast of The Sopranos surrounded by the dead bodies of the people killed in the series.
