Alfonso Cuaron is developing a film version of "The Memory of Running," Variety reports. Cuaron may direct the film, based upon Ron McLarty’s 1988 novel. The story is about a Vietnam vet who goes on a cross-country trip on his bicycle to reclaim the body of his recently deceased sister. Cuaron will also direct "The History of Love," based on a forthcoming novel by Nicole Krauss, for Warner Bros.
