2021 Gotham Award Nominations

Netflix's Passing and The Lost Daughter -- both directorial debuts -- led nominations with five each.

The nominations for the 2021 Gotham Independent Awards were announced this morning by the Independent Filmmaker Project. The Netflix titles Passing and The Lost Daughter led nominations with five each. The streaming giant also tied with A24 for the most total nominations with 10 each.

Director Jane Campion and the cast of The Harder They Fall had previously been announced as honorees for the ceremony, which honors independent filmmaking with a focus on those based in and around the New York area. Read through for the full list of nominees.
