  • GoT had a higher adjusted score than Doctor Who

Golden Tomato Awards: Presented by Steve Harvey

Lol. I think actually it’s more likely they got the numbers mixed up and posted the Doctor Who number with Game of Thrones and vice versa.

        • Micah Mahaffey

No Doctor Who is leading in both Audience and Critic ratings.

    • sontaran17

That’s the audience score, Doctor Who served better rated among official reviews – which is what this is a tally of.

      • Actually they had the adjusted score up earlier and GoT had it by a slim margin. They’ve changed it since my comment.

Doctor Who Starring: Peter Capaldi, Barnaby Kay, Samuel Anderson, Murray McArthur

I don’t know about Barnaby Kay, and Murray McArthur but Samuel Anderson wasn’t in season 9 but Jenna Coleman was.

I see that the cast list has been updated and Jenna is now on it as Jenna-Louise Coleman

I WISH Graeme Harper were back….

  • Micah Mahaffey

Yeah I completely agree! Doctor Who was miles ahead of Game Of Thrones this year. The Last half of Season 5 of GOT was amazing! But nearly this whole season of Doctor Who was top notch! It was also Doctor Who’s best season its ever had. So Id say this is completely accurate honestly! πŸ™‚

Intense negativity, including violence, does nothing to further ourselves or our society. It compels us toward a primitive state. Whenever you support these shows or movies, or watch them and react, you are helping to maintain a primitive, paranoid culture, as Capt Kirk, described us. I’m referring to GOT and the like. I’m a big Doctor Who fan but that show also slips into that realm of darkness.

Are you trying to claim that showing how war or rape is bad makes more war and rape happen?

  • Brenda Culver

This season of Doctor Who has been great and Peter Capaldi is wonderful as the Doctor. I hope he stays for a long time.

    • HMS

I became aware of this show only because my local PBS station decided to air some episodes. Chances are that is how many people my age became fans. Like you, I hope Peter Capaldi stays a long time. Even though it will be sad when he or any other character decides to leave, it will be exciting to see and get to know a new Doctor as well as new companions.
