In 2020, we revamped our Top Critic criteria to reflect the ever-changing media landscape and recognize critics’ individual contributions to their field. Along with individually-designated critics, the following publications also receive Top Critic status for their distinct and lasting impacts on the field of film/TV criticism.
Many of these outlets have received Top Critic since the program’s inception in 2008. Those marked with “(2020)” are new additions.
