We don’t know how the Oscars are going to pan out, but if our Awards Leaderboard is anything to go on , Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is the movie to beat this year, and if you need even more convincing, well, then you probably weren’t one of the voters who helped the film earn yet another Golden Tomato Award as the Fan Favorite Movie of 2023. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour jumped out to an early and commanding lead, dominating with as much as 55% of the vote at one point, before people began spreading their votes out among other favorites like Barbie, John Wick: Chapter 4, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 — none of which ultimately made the top five. In the end, Oppenheimer collected 13% of all votes compared to The Eras Tour’s 12%, followed by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, and Godzilla Minus One.
