Best Musical Movies 2023

After smashing concert records with her soon-to-be-iconic (if it isn’t already) Eras Tour in 2023, Taylor Swift announced that those who weren’t able to see her live would get the opportunity to experience the show like never before in a polished concert film. Swift famously plays by her own rules, so it made sense that the film would break some of its own, bypassing the studio system to work directly with the AMC theater chain for distribution and only allowing screenings of the film on Thursdays through Sundays. The result was not only a box office success, but a massive hit with critics, sending The Eras Tour straight to the top of our Best Musical Movies.
