Once a star of romantic comedies, always a star of romantic comedies: Variety is reporting that Down With Love and Bridget Jones’s Diary star Renee Zellweger is in talks to star in Gold Circle Films’ Chilled in Miami.

If everything goes according to plan, Zellweger will star opposite Harry Connick Jr. in the film, which follows the presumably adorable and hilarious exploits of, in the article’s words, “a Miami businesswoman who’s transferred to the sticks of Minnesota.” Danish director Jonas Elmer will make what appears to be his American debut for the project.

Chilled in Miami — which has been kicking around for a bit under the fortunately changed title 32 and Single — is scheduled to begin filming in January. Zellweger will next be heard in the Jerry Seinfeld animated comedy Bee Movie, and seen opposite George Clooney and John Krasinski in December’s Leatherheads.
