Universal has bought the rights to the "Magic Kingdom" books, Variety reports. Stephen Sommers will direct the film adaptations of the books, written by Terry Brooks. The first, "Magic Kingdom For Sale," involves a man who inadvertently acquires a fantastic realm and must unite its inhabitants in the battle against an evil demon.
