We’ve been reporting on "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" since the screenplay was first snapped up, so it’s cool to see that the flick semi-sped through production and is now starting to dole out the promotional material. IGN FilmForce has an exclusive look at the brand-new poster for the Luke Wilson / Uma Thurman super-hero rom-com … and it’s pretty cute.
Written by "Simpsons" scribe Don Payne, "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" shows what happens when you break the heart of a temperamental super-heroine. Comedy veteran Ivan Reitman ("Meatballs," "Stripes," "Ghostbusters") is the director, and the supporting cast looks pretty solid, too: Eddie Izzard, Rainn Wilson, Anna Faris, and Wanda Sykes.
Expect a trailer bulletin for the flick some time soon. It’s scheduled to open on July 21st, which would put it up against "Lady in the Water" and "Monster House."
