The new trend: Movies inching their release dates up just a little bit early. Those who can’t wait to see "Transformers" can catch it just a little bit earlier than July 4th. Plus there’s some new clips online.

In related news, it looks like you’ll be able to see the flick as early as the evening of July 2nd. According to Bay’s own blog, "Transformers" is now opening on 7/3 with some night-time screenings on 7/2. Is it too early to order tickets online yet?
