Tony Winner & 50 Cent to Get "Loaded" Together

by | March 25, 2005 | Comments

Variety brings us some rather colorful casting news: Tony Award winning actress Viola Davis (who also appeared in the films "Far From Heaven" and "Antwone Fisher") will work alongside rapper- turned- actor 50 Cent in an as-yet-untitled movie. (The title was "Locked and Loaded" until recently, but not any more, apparently.) Ms. Davis will play the grandmother of Mr. Cent’s character, a gangster- turned- rapper. This Paramount / MTV project will mark 50 Cent’s big-screen debut. Jim Sheridan ("In America," "My Left Foot") is directing a screenplay written by Terence Winter ("The Sopranos").
