Move over, Marvel superheroes! Here come the toy / cartoon movies!
First "Transformers," and soon "He-Man" and "G.I. Joe." Now it’s time for a "Thundercats" movie? According to the folks over at Warner Bros., yep, it’s time.
First-time screenwriter Kevin Sopocy has been contracted to pen the screenplay for the CG-animated project. Apparently it’ll be an origin story about Lion-O, Cheetarah, and the other feline-y super heroes.
Two pieces of advice: Get Christopher Walken to do the voice of Mumm-ra, and leave Snarf out completely.
