The Irishman, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Lead 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards Nominations

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) announced the nominees for the 25th annual Critics Choice Awards this weekend and on the film side it was big news for big-name directors. Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman led the pack in the film categories, with 14 nominations, followed closely by Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with 12 nominations. On the TV side, Ava DuVernay’s miniseries, When They See Us, dominated with six nominations, while This Is Us and Schitt’s Creek earned five – the latter earning nods for all four of its lead cast. Winners will be announced live on the CW network Sunday, January 12, 2020.
