Speaking with Empire Online, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio revealed some details about the "Infernal Affairs" remake they’re collaborating on, titled "The Departed." "Infernal Affairs" is the popular Hong Kong police thriller about two undercover agents, one working for the police and one for the triad, who both seek to uncover the identity of their respective counterpart. DiCaprio will play the undercover police officer originally played by Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Matt Damon will take on the role of the triad mole originally played by Andy Lau. According to Scorsese, "The Departed" will be "about the underworld in Boston. Irish gangsters and the police." The movie is scheduled to begin filming summer 2005 for a 2006 release.
