Teaser Time for "Resident Evil: Extinction"

Say what you will about the "Resident Evil" flicks, but they sure are advertised pretty cleverly. Then again, when the best thing you can say about a movie is "the teaser trailer sure was cool," there’s definitely a problem.

The teaser trailer to which I am referring was the one for "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," a sequel that pretty much stunk. But since I’m still a fan of the original "Resident Evil," I’m just a little psyched to see Part 3, which goes by the title of "Resident Evil: Extinction." Check out the first teaser trailer right here.

Official synopsis: "The third and final installment of the franchise is again based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off. Alice (Milla Jovovich), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead… and to seek justice."

Directed by Russell Mulcahy and written by "Evil" overseer Paul W.S. Anderson, "RE3" opens on September 21st.
