It’s not often that we’re graced with genuine movie geek royalty (with cheese) on our shores, so it’s with great excitement that we welcome back the one and only Quentin Tarantino, who’ll be in Sydney on August 3 to present a gala premiere of his latest film, Inglourious Basterds. What’s more, you can even get a ticket to be there.

Unless you’ve been buried alive or locked in a gimp dungeon all year, you’ll know that Basterds is Tarantino’s long-awaited World War II action film about a gang of Nazi-scalping American soldiers — with a cast lead by Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Eli Roth, Melanie Laurent, Michael Fassbender and Christoph Waltz.

QT will be joined for the premiere by the film’s leading lady, Diane Kruger, and its nefarious villain, Christoph Waltz — the man who took out the Best Actor Award at Cannes for his performance.

To secure your seat at the year’s must-see movie event, you’ll need to act fast — tickets are available here.
