Producer Tony Bill and screenwriter David S. Ward once worked together on a little film called "The Sting," and it looks like the pair will be getting back together to bring "Flyboys" to the big screen. Producer Dean Devlin ("Godzilla") has signed Bill to direct and Ward to adapt a previously existing screenplay by Phil Sears and Blake Evan. Variety says the "drama details the adventures of the Lafayette Escadrille, young American fighter pilots who volunteered for the French military before the U.S. entered WWI." Since "The Sting," Mr. Bill has gone on to direct films such as "Crazy People" and "Untamed Heart," while Mr. Ward went on to "Major League" and "Down Periscope."
