Speedman & Bentley Head Off to "Weirdsville"

Veteran director Allan Moyle ("Pump Up the Volume," "Empire Records") has climbed aboard the indie thriller "Weirdsville," which will star Scott Speedman, Wes Bentley, and Taryn Manning as a bunch of friends who stumble upon a creepy cult ritual while trying to find an appropriate place to bury their friend.

According to Variety, "Director Allan Moyle will direct indie pic "Weirdsville" for Toronto-based production company Darius Films. Scott Speedman, Wes Bentley and Taryn Manning will star in the dark comedy penned by Willem Wennekers.

Story revolves around a pair of hapless teen slackers who seek to bury the body of a friend who’s overdosed at an abandoned drive-in. There they stumble on a satanic cult performing a ritual."
