Regarding the heavily-buzzed and somewhat controversial Wong Kar Wai film "2046," The Hollywood Reporter shares some news: Sony Pictures Classics has snagged North American rights to the release, and the premiere will be held at the Tribeca Film Festival this May. Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Zhang Ziyi ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"), Gong Li ("The Emperor and the Assassin"), and Tony Leung ("Infernal Affairs"), "2046" has opened across most of the globe already, and you’ll get to see it some time this Fall…unless you go to Tribeca.
