Neophyte screenwriters Chrisanna Northrup and Halle Eavelyn were so sure they had a saleable screenplay — they took out a three-line ad in the Hollywood trades! The ad said "she’s sweet, she’s beautiful, she’s a conniving murderer, and she’s watching your children," and that pitch led directly to a script sale!

Vine Entertainment bought the rights to "Silver," which Variety describes as "inspired by Northrup’s own horrific experiences with a nanny, (it) intertwines three storylines and focuses on loopholes in the U.S legal system that leave a family exposed and a criminal at large. Thriller follows a mother fighting for her family in the wake of a sex scandal, kidnapping and murder." Now let’s hope the movie’s as good as the sales pitch!
