Rock & Reynolds Sign Up for Kumble's "Ride"

Variety tells of the impending action-comedy pairing between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Ryan Reynolds that will take place at New Line Cinema. Working from an original screenplay by Greg Coolidge ("Sorority Boys") is writer/director Roger Kumble ("The Sweetest Thing"), who will give the script another polish before shooting begins later this year. According to Variety, "Ride Along" details Johnson as "a tough cop who tries to halt a budding romance between his sister and a fellow schoolteacher."
