Ready for a Second Helping of "White Noise"?

The Hollywood Reporter indicates that there will soon be another visit from the noise of the white variety. Seems that dead people never know when to shutup already, which is why we’ll soon get to see "White Noise 2: The Light."

"Gold Circle Films is moving forward with "White Noise 2: The Light," a sequel to the horror hit. Rogue Pictures acquired U.S. distribution rights, while Mandate Pictures will handle foreign. "White Noise," produced by Gold Circle and distributed by Universal Pictures, grossed $57 million when it was released in January. In the sequel, scripted by Matt Venne, a man’s family is murdered and he is brought back from the brink of death. The man realizes he has changed and can now identify those among the living who are about to die. When he tries to save people from their fate, he discovers there is a price to paid for interfering with the natural order of life and death."

No word yet on if Michael Keaton will be involved, whether from inside of a staticky TV or otherwise.
