Phillips & Armstrong to Return to the "Old School"

DreamWorks has hired director Todd Phillips and screenwriter Scot Armstrong to bring "Old School 2" to the multiplexes, says Variety.

"In the first "Old School" — also penned by Phillips and Armstrong, and helmed by Phillips — Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson starred as middle-aged frat boys intent on reliving the debauchery of their college glory days."

No casting news at all just yet, which means that all three of the funnymen could be returning … or none of them.

"Old School" grossed nearly $75 million in North America, and has enjoyed even more popularity on the DVD market.

Todd & Scot are also hard at work on Dimension’s "School for Scoundrels," a comedy that will star Billy Bob Thornton.
