Newcomer Cory Koller (who previously acted as a production assistant for filmmaker Daniel Petrie) landed himself a sweet deal at Paramount, thanks to his pitch for "Big Brother." The story "centers on a man in his mid-20s who reacts to a life crisis by moving back in with his parents and making his ambitious 15-year-old brother miserable by stealing his bedroom, parents’ attention, girlfriend and best friends." Paramount will produce the film under its Nickelodeon banner with Julia Pistor ("Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events") on board as producer.
