John Carney’s Certified Fresh musical drama centers on a teenager who starts a band to impress the girl he has a crush on. Special features include a making-of doc, a short interview with Carney and Adam Levine, and cast auditions.

Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016) 90%

Ice Cube stars in this Certified Fresh third installment of Barbershop franchise, which follows the barbershop gang as they attempt to save their neighborhood from being overrun by local gangs. Bonus features include a gag reel, a behind-the-scenes look, and deleted scenes.

The Invitation (2016) 88%

Michiel Huisman and Logan Marshall-Green star in Karyn Kusama’s Certified Fresh thriller about a man who is invited to a dinner party hosted by his ex-wife and her new husband that takes a dark turn. Extras include a commentary track, a making-of short, and music videos for the original songs int he film.

Monster Hunt (Zhuo Yao Ji) (2016) 66%

This fantasy adventure tells the tale of a human woman pregnant with the child of a monster queen who flees in order to protect the unborn king. Information on special features is currently unavailable.

Hardcore Henry (2016) 51%

This action film shot from a first-person perspective follows a mute, amnesiac hero through a series of bombastic action sequences. Bonus features include deleted scenes, two commentary tracks, and a segment featuring co-star Sharlto Copley and director Ilya Naishuller answering fan questions.

Kevin Costner and Gary Oldman lead an ensemble cast in this spy thriller about a violent felon whose brain is infused with the memories of a crack CIA agent. Extras include a pair of featurettes, deleted scenes, and a music video.

Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Bell star in this comedy about a cutthroat tycoon who seeks redemption working with Girl Scouts after a stint in jail. Special features include an deleted, extended, and alternate scenes, a gag reel, an alternate ending, and a handful of behind-the-scenes featurettes.

The New World (2005) 63%

And lastly, the Criterion Collection is releasing Terrence Malick’s poetic take on the story of Pocahontas (Q’orianka Kilcher), who first finds romance with British explorer John Smith (Colin Farrell) before marrying John Rolfe (Christian Bale) and moving to England. Extras include new interviews with Farrell and Kilcher, a behind-the-scenes documentary filmed on set, a new making-of doc, and more.
