New on Amazon Prime Video in October 2020

It’s officially spooky season, and Amazon Prime Video is getting into the spirit with its “Welcome to the Blumhouse” series of four original horror films, starring a variety of talent including Phylicia Rashad, Peter Sarsgaard, Sarita Choudhury, and Sydney Sweeney. Black Box, The Lie, Evil Eye, and Nocturne all premiere throughout October.

Joining those films on Amazon Prime Video are a special filmed presentation of the Tony-nominated Broadway play What the Constitution Means to Me, the latest Savage X Fenty fashion show from Rihanna, and the eight-part supernatural comedy series Truth Seekers from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Films hitting the streaming service in October include action films like Quantum of Solace and The Da Vinci Code, rom coms like A Knight’s Tale and The Wedding Planner, and Oscar-winning films Funny Girl, The Pianist, The Departed, and Girl, Interrupted.

The Craft: Legacy (2020)

Description: A sequel to the 1996 movie The Craft, the film follows a group of high school students that form a coven of witches and stars Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim: Uprising), Gideon Adlon (Blockers), Lovie Simone (Selah and the Spades), Zoey Luna (Pose), and Nicholas Galitzine (Share), with Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible franchise), and David Duchovny (The X-Files).

However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a deeper conspiracy.
