The summer movie season is just around the corner, but April is an absolutely stacked month for TV. We’ve got highly anticipated new seasons of several big shows, some exciting newcomers, a couple of buzzworthy spin-offs, a revival of a beloved classic, and more.

We gathered a list of the most noteworthy shows either debuting or returning in March and asked you to vote for the ones you were most interested in. Read on to see what made the top five!


No. 1

Premiere Date: April 8 on Prime Video

The Boys returns for its explosive fifth and final season. Since premiering in 2019, the series has been a staple for Prime Video, blending political satire with ultraviolent superhero chaos. This season pushes deeper into Homelander’s tightening control over the U.S., with Vought Tower, D.C. and Stan Edgar’s bunker all poised to play major roles. A mysterious new camp setting also emerges, hinting at major confrontations, especially with Annie’s powers escalating.

Premiere Date: April 6 on Disney+

Set in the shadowy aftermath of the Clone Wars, this animated series tracks Maul as he attempts to resurrect his criminal syndicate on a world untouched by the Empire. Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord premieres just over a month before the next biggest installment in the Star Wars franchise, The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Premiere Date: April 12 on HBO

After a four‑year hiatus, HBO’s hit series Euphoria returns for its third and final season. Zendaya, already a two‑time Emmy winner for her role as Rue, leads the cast into a more adult-heavy season. With the characters now out of high school and Rue in Mexico facing dangerous debts, the series looks to close with its most intense and emotional arc yet.

Premiere Date: April 23 on Netflix

Following the conclusion of one of Netflix’s biggest series, the Duffer Brothers expand the Stranger Things universe with this new animated installment. Set in the winter of 1985, the story reunites the original characters as they confront new supernatural threats and a chilling new mystery begins to lurk beneath Hawkins.

Premiere Date: April 16 on Netflix

Lee Sung Jin and A24 return with a fresh story of resentment gone nuclear. Season 2 follows a young couple who witness a blowout between their boss and his wife, triggering a chain reaction that disrupts their entire country club community. The new cast is stacked: Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny. Fans hope the second season will live up to the first installment, which cemented a near-perfect Tomatometer score.
