Matthew Perry, best known as the consistently funny Chandler Bing on "Friends" and as an actor who invariably picks consistently bad films, has signed on to star in an indie comedy entitled "Numb," in which he will play the world’s biggest grouch — until he falls in love.
Says The Hollywood Reporter: "Matthew Perry has signed to star in "Numb," a dark comedy from writer Harris Goldberg, who is making his feature directorial debut on the picture.
Perry will play a screenwriter who suffers from acute depersonalization disorder, a condition so alienating and sanguine that it makes the chronically depressed look perky. When he falls for a girl, he puts himself through every single therapy in the book in order to win her love."
