Lucas Gives a Few "Star Wars" & "Indy 4" Hints (and Calls "Spidey 3" Silly!)

The man who created Jar Jar Binks has called the third "Spider-Man" flick "silly."

While talking to Fox News, George Lucas talked around "Indy 4" a little more. Regarding Karen Allen? Can’t say. Sean Connery? Lips are sealed. Plot details? Hah, don’t make me laugh.

Regarding the hotly-anticipated "Star Wars" TV shows, the animated one will feature several familiar characters, only they’ll be voiced by different actors. The live-action (mini?) series "won’t have members of the Skywalker family as characters … They will be other people of that milieu." Still no word on which network will land the series, but I doubt George will have a problem finding bidders. (Gotta be Fox, right?)

And when he was asked about "Spider-Man 3," this is what Mr. Lucas had to say: ""It’s silly. It’s a silly movie … There just isn’t much there. Once you take it all apart, there’s not much story, is there? … People thought ‘Star Wars’ was silly, too … But it wasn’t." The reporter mentions a "wink" as he says the last part, which is a good thing. Because I actually kinda LIKE the "Star Wars" prequels, and even I think chunks of those flicks are pretty silly.
