Kristin Davis and the Secrets of the "Sex and the City" Movie

A "Sex and the City" movie was the plan when the show ended its six-year run, but those plans fell through until recently. Rumors that the project is back on have been buzzing just in time for Kristin Davis‘ new movie, "Deck The Halls."

"I have heard those rumors, yes," she said. "If the movie were to happen it would be wonderful and I would be there and I’d be so, so, so exited."

Davis‘ publicist made sure to state that she could not talk about why the film fell apart years ago and why it may be back on now. "The only thing I will say is that I would love to do the movie," Davis said. "I would have liked to do it then and I would like to do it now. I would just like to do it. It would make me very, very happy."

Such secrecy suggests that the movie is likely back on, though the slightest wrong bit of news could sabotage the whole thing. So her reps understandably did not want her suggesting any problems on the part of any of her other collaborators. Remember, Davis is just one of the actors. "Yeah, it’s not me."
