A scooper over at Ain’t It Cool News is floating a rumor that Joss Whedon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Firefly") is in "final negotiations with Joel Silver and Warner Bros. to write and direct Wonder Woman." The only obstacle preventing this from happening is "X-Men 3," the scooper says. Supposedly, Fox is also pursuing Whedon to direct the third "X-Men" movie. This rumor is from "people [who] hang out with work friends," so take it with a grain of salt.
