Jackass Crew Prepares for More

All the lingering questions from Jackass Number Two to finally be resolved.

As avid fans of pain-derived comedy may recall, when Jackass Number Two was released last year, head Jackass Johnny Knoxville mentioned the possibility of more footage eventually being released to the public — and now, as Slashfilm reports, it may be on its way.

Here’s what Knoxville said to the press last year:

“There’s some stuff I’m still wanting to shoot, and we might shoot in November. It’s not for a three, it’s just because it’s something I really want to do, and I said I was gonna do it, and then I could not not do it.”

As it turns out, he spoke the truth; that footage is being shot, and it isn’t for Jackass 3. It is, in fact, for Jackass 2.5, which is being secretly filmed in Los Angeles, where a set “spy” filmed some of the goings-on. (To see the illicit video, click through to the link below.)

According to Slashfilm‘s sources, Jackass 2.5 will hit the DVD market in time for Christmas. Now you know just what to get for your mother-in-law.
