The Intermedia production house has a pair of horror projects on tap. One is a thriller entitled "Fear Itself," which Variety describes as "a supernatural thriller about a detective who finds a string of victims murdered under circumstances dictated by their worst fears." Directing duo Joel Bergvall & Simon Sandquist ("The Invisible") will be behind the cameras; screenwriter Tony Jaswinski ("Killing Time") is on screenwriting duty. The second project is called "Sleepwalker," which is an English-language remake of Swedish film from Johannes Runeborg. This one’s about "a sleepwalking man who awakens to find his family missing and his bed bloody." The writer on that one will be Michael Gilvary. Intermedia prez Scott Kroopf digs the projects because "these are two terrific genre films, the kind of moderately budgeted, commercially oriented material Intermedia wants to do."
