"Grindhouse" Earns an R -- and the "Halloween" Trailer

As if you needed a few more reasons to run out and see the Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez collaboration known as "Grindhouse," well, here’s two.

First off, the flick’s been rated R for "strong graphic bloody violence and gore, pervasive language, some sexuality, nudity and drug use," and I think that sounds like a pretty amusing way to spend a Friday night. Plus we learned at SXSW that the DVD version will most definitely feature a whole bunch of nasty new footage. So that’s even more fun.

And that’s not all: According to Rob Zombie, the first trailer for his "Halloween" remake will be playing in front of "Grindhouse," which makes the event a non-stop horror-fest extravaganza.

Count me in.
