Happy Friday Harvest, a weekly round-up of the
best pictures, posters, and videos that have become available for
viewing/download on Rotten Tomatoes. Each section features the favorite or most
interesting item we’ve
added for the week, along with several other new highlights. Enjoy!

Picture Gallery of the Week:
The Wolfman

Director Joe Johnston has always been a middlebrow visualist, creating
movies with strong concepts and occasionally striking (if unobtrusive)
imagery but usually aren’t as thrilling as they should be. But starting with
his slightly underrated Jurassic Park III and Hidalgo, his
movies have been increasingly ambitious. The Wolfman, starring
Benicio Del Toro and the always awesome Hugo Weaving, is shaping out
well so far. Browse the gallery.

Poster of the Week:

See that thing to the left? That’s a poster. Mike Judge is probably a
little perplexed by the sight of it. After all, his previous movies were
badly marketed (Office Space), if at all (Idiocracy). Miramax
seems to be at least giving his new movie, Extract, a fighting chance.

Video of the Week:

Legion red band trailer

If you’re a middle schooler, Legion could possible be the best movie ever. After all, it’s a fantasy parable with angels,
zombies (apparently), and foul-mouth old ladies that takes itself 100%
seriously. Paul Bettany apparently plays his stone-faced hero character as a
sort of heavenly Kyle Reese.
