Ice Cube (aka O’Shea Jackson) made a huge splash in the music industry when he debuted alongside fellow hip hop legends Dr. Dre and Eazy E in the pioneering gangster rap group N.W.A. more than twenty years ago. Just a few years later, Cube made his critically acclaimed film debut in John Singleton’s Boyz N the Hood, jumpstarting a Hollywood career that would include everything from family comedies to action flicks to inspirational sports dramas. Further expanding his repertoire, his latest role came just last week in Lottery Ticket, in which he plays an elderly mentor to a young man who’s just won a lottery jackpot.

Cube took a break from his schedule to stop by The Rotten Tomatoes Show on Current to share five of
his favorite movies. Check them out in the video below!
