Larry Kramer’s important 1985 play has had a resurgence on Broadway and now as a made-for-HBO movie event. The film premieres May 25, 2014; Ryan Murphy directs Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts and Matt Bomer. The play was hugely important when it premiered, and now we get another chance to see how Kramer stood up to fight within his own community to speak out against those who ignored the fatality of the AIDS virus in the beginning. Lots of buzz surrounds this version, as we look to see how it holds up today. See the newly extended trailer here:
