The Hollywood Reporter brings news of two screenwriters tapped for the DreamWorks/Paramount live-action "Transformers" movie: Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci ("The Island," "The Legend of Zorro," TV’s "Alias") were hired to build upon a story line from Tom DeSanto ("X-Men"), the final result of which should be one truly eye-popping adventure. Steven Spielberg will act as an executive producer on the as-yet-untitled "Transformers" flick. A director has not yet been announced.
