The stars and director of the biggest movie at Comic-Con – that would be Aquaman – sat down with Rotten Tomatoes on Saturday ahead of their Hall H panel. And with the trailer finally out there, Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, and director James Wan were free to reveal fresh details about the movie (including villain Black Manta’s suit).

Wan went deep on the visual inspirations for the movie, while Heard said Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman had done, well, wonders for females in superhero movies. Nicole Kidman said she is making a welcome return to the DC family, while Momoa, always a show stealer, described what a “Momoa Kingdom” would look like (lots of Guinness and plenty of meat) and talked about the responsibility of being the first brown-skinned title movie superhero.

Aquaman is in theaters December 21, 2018
