Amber Tamblyn has been cast in the lead role for "The Grudge 2." According to the Hollywood Reporter, she will play the younger sister of Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s character in the sequel. The movie will reportedly center around "new characters who find themselves connected by the curse." In "The Grudge," victims who died horribly came back as vengeful spirits and passed on the curse. Director Takashi Shimizu, who directed the Japanese originals, will be directing the English-language sequel as well.
