2014 Academy Awards Nominations
The moment Hollywood’s been waiting for all awards season for has arrived: the 86th Annual Academy Award Nominations. As expected, the year’s critical heavy-hitters American Hustle, 12 Years a Slave and Gravity dominated proceedings, each earning Best Picture Nominations and nods for their directors, in addition to garnering a host of acting recognition. There were some Best Picture surprises — like Philomena, and the not-always-a-shoo-in The Wolf of Wall Street — and some curious snubs, like the shut-out of Inside Llewyn Davis across the major categories. Read through for the full list of nominees.
