Zwick to Make Film About Daniel Pearl

by | February 22, 2005 | Comments

Ed Zwick will direct an adaptation of the book "Who Killed Daniel Pearl?" by French author-philosopher Bernard-Henry Levy, Variety reports. The film is the second project based on Pearl’s life; Warner Bros. and Plan B were adapting Pearl’s wife’s book, with Jennifer Aniston to star. Zwick’s film will be about the perils facing journalists in war zones; Pearl was a reporter for the Wall Street Journal when he was abducted and killed in Pakistan.
